Beer Garden
There are places in Minnesota you have to go: The North Shore, the State Fair, First Avenue, the World’s Second Largest Ball of Twine. Surly’s Beer Hall joined this unimpeachable list of “you just gotta see this” places when it opened its doors on December 19, 2014. Our massive space is a destination for locals and travelers alike. It’s neighborhood-y enough for an after-work beer, and big enough for a thousand of your closest friends to eat and drink in the Beer Hall, Beer Garden, and Surly Pizza on any given Thursday. Think of it as a community gathering space, only our community is the entire Upper Midwest and beyond.

Our take on New Haven-style apizza was an out-of-the-box hit when it opened in spring 2018, as it turns out beer and pizza is not just for college kids anymore. Open nights and Saturdays when we’re at our busiest, the pizza comes out fast, hot and delicious.
