Our Commitment to Quality

Surly makes exceptional beers, and we bring that standard of excellence to producing high-quality THC products. Years of brewing experience are behind every product we make and why you can count on the quality and consistency of Take Five and Double Take. We test the potency of our products throughout the production process with our third-party lab partners. And we’ve done due diligence to ensure we can offer a superior THC product that complies with all Minnesota regulations.

It is your final weekend to order our titanic Thanksgiving Meal Kit for the season! Everything you could want in a meal for 4-6 hungry people, plus beer (Feastbier 2024 is a Wee Heavy aged in George Dickel whiskey barrels with vanilla).

Deadline to purchase is Wednesday, Nov. 20. Link to order in our bio.

Complimenting Tinucci on his old buzzcut in the comments is encouraged but not mandatory.
Welcome to Dorit’s Tavern.

Open from Wednesday, Dec. 4-Sunday, Jan. 5 on Surly’s second floor, it’s a holiday pop-up that’s been fed after midnight.

Instead of candy canes and cozy Hallmark endings, Dorit’s avoids direct sunlight and surrounds you with cold beers, killer pizza, jello shots, and a cast of unsavory characters. (You’ll be fine, just don’t spill water on them.)

This mid-‘80s holiday dive bar tribute is now taking reservations, link in our bio.

P.S. If anyone has Phoebe Cates’s email, please let us know, we’d love to have her bartend for a night.
On Friday, we'll be halfway through November. You can look it up. We'll wait.

See? The holiday party season is here with a vengeance, and our Scheid Hall event space is ready to host your gathering, be it corporate, family, a winter wedding, you name it.

To book your event today or make a referral for your company party (and snag a $50 Surly gift card for the effort), links are in our bio!
Like their fellow Midwesterners, these Mosh Pits travelled south for the winter.

Swing your Axe, Omaha.
The thing about tailgating for Sunday Night Football is that it's a marathon, not a race. Mix in a water. Eat some food. Enjoy the crisp, refreshing taste of Before I Die Lager. They're in midseason form and so are you. You've got this.
Mods are asleep, post green bean casserole pics.

(Don't forget to order your Surly Thanksgiving Meal Kit, link in bio.)
Happy Helloween from Surly Brewing!

Remember: When handing out candy, a "one for them, one for me" ratio is acceptable and encouraged.
The company holiday party is on the horizon. Sure, you could have it in your windowless office, but you also want people to actually show up, plus you can't hear the music over the copier running. Consider holding it at our brewery's Scheid Hall event space, with great food, award-winning beer, and space for 50-175 guests.

Follow the link in our bio and fill out the referral form, including the name of your company's party planner. They will get an automatic email from Surly letting them know you want us to host this year's party. If they decide to hold their event at Surly, we'll reward YOU with a $50 gift card to use here whenever you return! Good for all events booked between 11/1/24 - 1/31/25.

Also our copier is offsite, so crank up the Mariah.
As we stare down the onset of the winter months with a steely gaze and a pair of choppers, it's only right that Winterize, Surly’s winter seasonal, returns to stores.

This full-flavored, amber-hued lager delivers toasty notes of biscuit, honey, and caramel. Medium-bodied with a robust malt bill, it satisfies in the way only a beer can when battling wind chill, ice dams, snow days, and furnace repair.

As we did last year, for every 12-pack of Winterize sold, Surly will donate $1 to Second Harvest Heartland, up to $5000.

Winterize is available on draft and in both 12 and 24-packs to all Surly markets beginning this week and next. It will be around until March or when the towering pile of snow/sludge/road salt in the Eden Prairie Center parking lot melts, whichever comes first.
It's pretty obscure and you probably haven't heard about it, but 33 years ago this week, what started as a typical fall in Minnesota soon gave way to The Halloween Blizzard of 1991. It became a landmark event in local and Upper Midwest lore.

Why are we bringing this up? Because we want to make sure you read our post about the winter Beer Hall hours of operation that take effect on Tuesday, Oct. 29, and Minnesotans cannot get enough of the Halloween Blizzard of 1991. The algorithm doesn't lie.
