Sometime between today and the future. World domination takes time. Rest assured, we’d love to be selling beer in your neck of the woods, and you can watch our social channels and this very website for updates to our distribution footprint. If you’d like to request distribution, please email [email protected] and let us know where you’d like to see us.

We’re building an improved Beer Finder that tells you where your nearest Surly 12-pack or tap line can be found. When it’s ready, find it here.

If you’re a MN resident, check your local liquor store, smoke shop, and other THC-friendly businesses. If you’re local, our brewery’s company store has all our beverages and gummies to go.
THC legality is very new, and there’s a lotta ins, a lotta outs, a lotta what-have-yous. Check our website for updates on flavors, offerings, and potency, as it’s still somewhat illegal to promote them on our social channels.

Sign up for an event on our Surly Gives A Damn page. The odds of us buying you a beer afterward are substantially in your favor.

Almost always. The exception would be if we use lactose (milk sugar) in the brewing process. That is very clearly noted on those beers, be it on draft or in cans.

While we do not have gluten-free beers, we occasionally make gluten-reduced beers, and note them as such on our beer menu.  These beers more than meet the standard for the gluten-free designation (less than 20 parts per million), but since we brew with real barley, not gluten-free grains, it has to be called gluten-reduced.

No. It’s strictly a production facility, as it’s illegal for any brewery to have more than one taproom in Minnesota. Yes, it’s a dumb law, and hopefully it’ll change someday.

No, due to Minnesota law we are unable to ship beer to consumers. Take it up with the state.

Why not? Cans are awesome, tough guy. They’re superior to glass for keeping out light and oxygen. You can take them places where bottles aren’t allowed. They’re better for the environment. Your grandpa drank beer from a can, and he was probably in an actual war. The list goes on.

Growlers no, crowlers yes! And with a frequently updated menu, no less. Come on in!

Nope. Our liquor store partners will be happy to help you. Don’t forget to buy solo cups. Red, preferably, so people know it’s a party.

Check out our Events page. Follow us on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, or any combination of the three. You will find what you’re looking for.

Call them. If they’re on Untappd, even better. We have no way of knowing up to the minute what’s on tap/in stock at places that carry us. Or just go there! Support a local business! Make a day out of it!

More often than not. Check out our Careers page.

Tours are every Saturday at 1pm and 3pm. Reserve your spot today!
