Our Surly Gives A Damn Donation Garden is in its 11th year! We have grown and donated 10K pounds of produce along the way. Come help us keep growing!

We are looking for our summer garden crew. NO, YOU DON’T NEED EXPERIENCE.

We have opportunities to be: weekly garden helpers, monthly garden helpers and/or delivery drivers from May – October. 

Garden helpers meet on Tuesday evenings from 6-8pm to plant, weed, harvest and tend to the garden. After we tend to the garden, you bet we will have a beer in the beer hall! Delivery Drivers will pick up harvested produce Wednesday mornings (9 or so) from Surly, deliver produce to Keystone and return empty bins back to Surly.

Everything we grow in this garden will get donated to Keystone Community Services this year and will be put directly into their food shelf the day after harvest. Keystone’s food shelf is designed to support people who need food assistance and other help. They also have a Foodmobile, crisis support and additional food programs and work to strengthen the community by giving ample access to neighbors in need.
