The Surly Gives A Damn Donation Garden is moving back to the neighborhood! We could not be more thrilled to have our little donation garden back in Prospect Park and in our own backyard. We are getting a little bit of a late start, in regards to the growing season, but that won’t stop us from growing as much as we can this year for Every Meal. This will be our 10th year running and have donated over 4 tons of food so far.

Everything we grow in this garden gets donated to Every Meal with their Grow & Give Program. More than 300,000 children in Minnesota live with food insecurity and Every Meal fights back by focusing on filling the food gaps children face on weekends, extended breaks, and summer when they’re not able to access school meal programs. Our garden donations help fill those gaps with fresh produce.

Come on out and lend a hand at our new space. We will be finishing up any final raised bed construction projects and getting all the plants nestled into their new summer homes.
