Our 18th anniversary beer (Belgian golden strong ale fermented with Brettanomyces Brux and Clauss, aged in virgin oak barrels) spent even more time aging on the Brett and oak before finishing in bourbon barrels. Yesterday, a coalition of Minnesota elected officials and business owners came together as one group to shine a light on the current hemp ban and push for a clear, responsible and regulated path forward. Surly’s founder and President, Omar Ansari, was one of the business owners speaking out in support of a federal framework for a safe, responsible hemp industry.
