In Thaw We Trust

Surly’s first variety pack of 2020 is designed for these post-holiday months, as we trudge our way out of winter’s grip. There will be days where the temperature sneaks above freezing and you lose your mind a little. There will be days with a foot of damn snow and snarled traffic and you lose your mind more than a little. This maddeningly slow process demands an array of craft beers to see you through the shoveling, scraping, sun, and slush, all in one box of twelve 12 oz. cans.

In addition to our Furious and Xtra flagships, the Thaw Pack introduces two brand new beers as we wait (and wait…and wait) for spring. Someday the Thaw will come. Until then, we have beer.

Fall To Pieces Mosaic IPA

An IPA that celebrates one of craft beer’s most popular hops, this Mosaic masterpiece puts juicy, tropical character at the forefront of this light-bodied, delicious beer. Notes of mango, honey, and papaya entice, along with a dank hint of green fruit.

  • ABV: 6.8%
  • Hops: Warrior (bittering), Lotus, Mosaic (dry hop)
  • Malt: 2-Row, Pale Wheat, Golden Oats, Carafoam
  • Aromatics: Mango, Honey, Papaya
  • Pour: Light Orange
  • Bitterness: Low

Scrillionaire Dark Lager

The perfect beer for the dead of winter. You don’t need to live in the lap of luxury to enjoy the finer things in life–simply pour a glass of this rich, malt-heavy dark lager to find notes of caramel, toffee, dark fruit, and a hint of chocolate. Whether you’re overdrawn or flush, take a sip of this decadent, full-flavored beer. You’ll feel like a Scrillionaire.

  • ABV: 8.0%
  • Hops: Warrior (bittering)
  • Malt: Munich, Pilsner, Caramunich
  • Aromatics: Caramel, Toffee, Graham Cracker
  • Pour: Dark Amber
  • Bitterness: Low
