Surly Blutpakt

First brewed in 2016 in collaboration with Dangerous Man, this German Porter was released at 331 Club during Art-A-Whirl. The collaboration idea began with Surly’s Jerrod Johnson, and Dangerous Man’s John Leingang. After coming across some German Porter recipes that are less-roast driven than English Porters, the plan evolved for each brewery to make their own version of the recipe with the input of the other brewery’s team.

Surly’s version of this Collaboration beer is a light roast, toasted marshmallow with tangy/funky yeast notes and a woody finish.
