Surly Gives A Damn is hosting Give to the Max volunteers and participants in our Beer Hall from 4-7pm, where we’ll be toasting with Winterize, our new seasonal lager that also provides support for Second Harvest Heartland (see below).

Want a Winterize (or N/A beverage) on the house? Of course you do. You can either:

A. Sign up for our Pack to the Max event at Second Harvest Heartland’s Brooklyn Park location! If you can’t make that one, volunteer with Second Harvest at any of their other Pack to the Max shifts on November 16th.

B. Donate to SGAD/Second Harvest Heartland’s efforts at this helpful link. Show us your receipt when you get here and we’ll hook you up.

Surly Brewing Co. and Second Harvest Heartland are partnering to raise money and support volunteerism in the fight against food insecurity. Surly is matching all donations made to Second Harvest Heartland up to $5,000, including $1 for every Winterize 12-pack we sell in market. Along with monetary support, Surly is filling volunteer needs throughout the winter. Surly is dedicating a companywide day of service to Second Harvest, and we’ll have weekly volunteer opportunities for anyone reading this to jump in and Give A Damn the entire month of January.
