Bottle Project Release Party

We’re celebrating the very first Bottle Project release with an exclusive party for those who purchased the collection or received it as a gift!

Join us on Thursday, February 2nd from 5-7pm as we start the bottle pickup for The Long Winter, our inaugural Bottle Project beer. This massive barleywine was aged in whiskey barrels from our neighbors at O’Shaughnessy Distilling, so it’s only fitting that their head distiller, Brian Nation, will join Surly’s Head Brewer Ben Smith to chat about it and take your questions beginning at 6:15pm.

We’ll be holding the Q&A in our Scheid Hall event center. Seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Once we’re at capacity, that’s it. If you want to take part in it, we suggest getting here by 5:30pm. This event is free to attend.

In addition, our kitchen team is preparing special menu items wood-fired on spent O’Shaughnessy barrels, and we’ll be tapping a rare port barrel-aged stout for the occasion.

If you’d like to attend but haven’t bought a 2023 subscription, there’s still time to purchase one. Buy yours today and we’ll see you on Feb. 2!

Note: if you can’t attend on this date or have to grab your bottle and go because the kids have karate class, that’s perfectly fine. Bottles will be available at our brewery during normal operating hours.
