If you’ve been on an average brewery tour, you know the drill: Here’s the brewhouse, here’s the tanks, here’s some barrels, here’s a sample, you can buy a t-shirt over there, have a nice day. Throughout Surly’s history, we’ve prided ourselves on a truly ass-kicking tour, be it at our destination brewery in MSP or the old stomping grounds in Brooklyn Center (take a left at Midwest Screw Products).
That’s not to say you won’t get samples and see some tanks on the Surly tour, but we figure if you’re going to walk around our job for the next hour or so, we want to make it a memorable experience for you. Ask your friends who’ve taken it: We do.
With that in mind, we’re making a couple changes to the tour (nothing crazy, settle down) and wanted to make sure you know about them. These changes are effective today (March 1):
Our tour schedule moves to the following, also effective today. Write this down, there will be a test later:
All tours are maxed at 20 people. (People who’ve been on the tour: no spoiler alerts on the big reveal at the end, OK?)
Over the course of the month, we’ll be featuring some tour history, the people behind them, and the great causes your ticket supports. See you here.
