Professional soccer is back, and Surly is thrilled to partner with the Minnesota United for the Official Pregame Party at our Destination Brewery before every home game. Grab a beer, get some food, listen to some live music, and march to the stadium with a brass band and the rest of your fellow soccer enthusiasts.

WHAT: MNUFC/Surly Official Pregame Party and March to TCF Bank Stadium

PARTY STARTS: 4:00 P.M.

LIVE MUSIC FROM: McNasty Brass Band

MARCH STARTS: 6:00 P.M. Queue up at the corner of Malcolm and 5th. Listen for the brass band. For the opener, it took about 15 minutes to get there on the greenway (in a snowstorm).

WILL YOU BE POURING THE SOCCER BEER AGAIN: Damn straight. We’ll also be pouring Coffee Bender, Overrated!, and Pils outside, plus our full roster inside.

WILL THE WEATHER BE BETTER: God we hope so.

OTHER THINGS TO KNOW:

  • Free parking (map below).
  • Plenty of bike parking and easy access to the Green Line.
  • Full menu inside; outside, we’ll have hot dogs (all beef) and beer brats (all brat), both served with chips.
  • Surly’s new soccer-inspired merch (hats, Ts, hoodies, etc.) will be available.

WHERE, EXACTLY, CAN I PARK?

Between Surly Brewing, Allina and UEL, there are over 1,000 places to park your vehicle on Sunday, in addition to hundreds of street parking spots.

Places where you can park:

  • Surly Brewing Co. Parking Lots
  • Allina Parking Lot
  • UEL Parking Lot
  • Some city streets

Places where you can’t park:

  • Other city streets.
  • Local business parking lots not listed above
  • In Surly’s employee parking lot
  • Loading zones
  • Loading docks
  • On the lawn
  • On the sidewalk
  • Anywhere signage otherwise indicated NO PARKING.

CAN I TAILGATE IN MY PARKING SPOT?
No. That’s, like, illegal and stuff. We did set up a tent where you can grab a beer and eat food, though, which are the two of the three main components of tailgating.  We don’t know what to tell you about hacky-sacking. You can probably get a good hack going, but respect other people’s space.
